I love the simplicity and functionality
I wanted a wireless meat thermometer because I can seem to get things like steak or roast cooked to the temperature I am aiming for. I wanted something that didn’t require a phone or subscription. You can use this without a phone. The temperatures read out on the little screen and it is clear and bright. The batter lasts a long time, longer than I need it to ever work for, and it easily recharges. The app is actually super easy to use and not full of random junk. Just pick a meat or set your own temp goal and both your phone and the case will alarm when done. Works perfectly. It is a little delayed, for example the ambient will not read the oven temp for a few minutes after you put it in, but that is to be expected. The temperature for the meat seems perfectly accurate and I cooked the best rack of lamb I have ever made with this the other day.

I didn’t want to dish out $100 for a brand name meat thermometer so I went with Govee as I have a lot of other govee products and trust them. I’m glad I did.The thermometer works well, as it’s very accurate and has bluetooth to sync with the govee app to let you know the temperature. Also, on the app, you can set timers for when the thermometer reaches a certain temperature which is super useful.If you don’t want to download the app, the charging case the thermometer comes with also has a temp gauge which measures the temperature inside the meat as well as the ambient temperature. The battery life is also very good as it easily lasts a couple hours without dying.Overall, this is a very great product for under $50. Definitely would recommend.

My turkey came out perfectly. This is a lifesaver. I always had to guess and open. The wireless setup took 3 minutes max. Get the app, install and connect vie blue tooth and phone vie WiFi. I’m so happy with his item that reminded me before it was done. We had the best turkey ever. Temperature matters!! This comprises taking over the wireless home kits and it does a great job!! Price is very fair!!

Great meat thermometer.
I absolutely love this!! It accuracy was spot on with the the 24 lb turkey I made for Thanksgiving. Easy to use and connect through the app and wifi. I love that it beeps through my phone and its case as well. I can also set timers on it to remind me to baste or just check on my food i am cooking. Very durable and the battery life last through the cooking time and still has a full charge. Looks more expensive then it actually is. Definitely got used today. I am actually thinking of getting this for my daughter and daughter inlaw for christmas.

I have tried at least a half dozen wireless thermometers, all without success. Not one of them worked well or was easy to use. Then I got this one. I loved it from the first time I tried. It is exceptionally easy to use and, from the results, it is accurate. I can’t speak for its absolute accuracy as I really have little way of measuring it. But after using more than ten times, I know it is accurate. That would be enough for five stars. But then I found that the base unit did not hold a charge. I contacted the vendor and had a reply that same ay. I was given an instruction to try. It did not work. I wrote to the vendor again. Got a reply the same day. I was asked for my name and address. About 4 days later I had a replacement in my mailbox. No charge for the unit.. No charge for the shipping. I did not have to return the defective unit.Unit quality, ease of use, reliability– FIVE STARS. Customer service — FIVE STARS. ALTOGETHER — TEN STARS.

Ugh! Scam!
This is probably the worst product I have ever used and if I could return it I would, but unfortunately I am outside my window.Upon initial inspection everything seemed hopeful connection was easy, it appears to work wonderfully, and then the actual time of smoking food came. Again, initially the product appeared to work I was allowed to set my range of temp and monitor it from the comforts of my home etc. we were doing an overnight brisket smoke, so it was important to us to have key features like an alert system if the internal or ambient temp got below what we wanted. And therein lies the problem. Just got settled for the long winters nap (1am) after babysitting the brisket for 2.5 hours (with no issues mind you). When the alarm system goes off indicating that the ambient temp is too hot……okay, so I get up to check it and my smoker says it’s holding at 225, where as my meat thermometer is reflecting something different-problem 1.(inaccurate temp readings) which in the grand world of…..idk cooking, smoking, grilling….I guess preparing food, accurate temp reading is kind of a must. After proceeding to deal With the smoker for an additional 1.5 hours I finally got the ability to go lay down and sleep, feeling again hopeful.-.- I guess hopeful is an ambitious word because the alarm started repeatedly going off every 10 minutes alerting the whole house to an under cooked brisket…..clearly this thermometer hasn’t experienced the “stall” of the meat. So again I get up to deal with it and it is saying only 5 hours into a 12 hour smoke that my brisket is completely done, and ready to serve; I think not. At this point I’m so frustrated and fed up with this stupid thermometer that I resort back to an old fashion meat thermometer and give up!
