Our story began in 2010. We unexpectedly discovered a cloth diaper on the Internet by accident, and recognized how superior it was to disposable diapers. Raising a child is expensive enough, and disposable diapers are waste money. So, we came up with the idea to make baby cloth diapers, to help families financially as well as to be kind to our environment.

Very good diapers
I love these diapers, I’ve been using them for 3 months, and they work great. Of course I need to change my baby’s diaper every 3-4 hours or otherwise it will leaks, but they are great, I love these diapers, I’m planning to buy more.

Two came slightly defective
First of all let me say that I love these diapers!They fit so well, contain all messes and I’m so happy to have found an affordable option for our cloth diapering journey. I actually really like the charcoal bamboo inserts too, my 4 month old doesn’t seem to be a heavy wetter, they work perfectly during the day as individual inserts and I double up at night for no overnight leaks.However on two of the covers (the light blue and neon green) I’ve noticed the interfacing to protect and give strength to the snaps is twisted on two of the diapers. They are right on the edge of the snaps. I’m worried about the longevity of those particular snaps as I plan to use these diapers for a very long time.I’m not sure if there is anyway to get a replacement for those two.

Great diapers but the inserts are not enough.
I love the Alva’s. I have 2 packs. 1 with the microfiber and 1 with charcoal bamboo inserts. The colors are cute. It’s overall good, but these inserts are below average. I pair a microfiber insert with a thirsties hemp and boom, that is awesome. No leaks. But these microfiber or charcoal bamboo alone is not very good at holding the pee in.

Does nothing for nighttime accidents
The main reason we got these were for our potty trained toddlers who sometimes have accidents at night. They did nothing. We’ve even doubled up on the inserts (which was super bulky) and they would still wake up soaked in pee and with a rash from the rubbing. Also, both my toddlers would have indents from the buttons and they’re both on the smaller side. Overall, waste of money for us. They are back in pull ups and money wasted. Maybe okay for a little dribble but definitely not a full bladder.
