Premium Price? Yes. Premium Product? Absolutely!
While I don’t mind paying a premium price if I get what I pay for, I must admit I was a little skeptical about shelling out several times the market price for a simple manicure kit.I’m glad I did.Let me add my accolades to the overwhelmingly positive reviews for this manicure set: From the great looking and functional case to the tools themselves, Mr. Green delivers in spades. I’ve never owned clippers that cut through my thick, woody fingernails like hot butter, and I no longer have to soak my feet for a half hour just to trim my toenails. These pups are high quality, razor sharp and get the job done in a New York minute.The nano-glass file is great for smoothing out the rough edges on my nails–and note both clippers have a nano-glass file built into them as well. I don’t see them advertised in the seller’s images or product description, but my kit also came with a microfiber cleaning cloth and a small brush, presumably to de-gunk the nano-glass file after use.In sum, this kit gives you everything you need and nothing you don’t need to keep your digits looking and feeling great and is well worth every penny. In fact, I’m so impressed by this Mr. Green manicure set that I bought one for my wife and one for my son, mostly because I love them but partly to keep them from absconding with mine!

A Quality Product
There are plenty of cheapo sets for sale here but spend the extra money and get a really good kit, albeit expensive compared to the rest of them. This you can confidently give as a gift without reservation. Yes, Mr. Green is kind of a cheesy name, but this is Solingen steel made in Germany, quality stuff. The case is nice material, compact and has the right combination of tools to my taste. It pleases me every time I use it.

Love this kit!
All I wanted was just some new clippers, since mine were requiring me to twist them just to break off a toenail, but when I saw everything else that came with it, I had to get the whole thing!The clippers are excellent! The first time I tried them, it was like my fingernails were made of butter; they sliced right through them: didn’t even make the clicking sound! I hadn’t realized how much I was suffering all these years with dull clippers! I was using mine as tweezers, they were so dull!The tapered Clippers were great as well! I took extra time to scuplt the corners of my nails, as well as get rid SO MUCH hangnail that I didnt even know I had!Now I will say the nail file on the clippers, while great, was kind of hard for me to use, since it had a ridge around the edge, so I couldnt get as close as I wanted to with them. However, the glass file made for it. That thing…it makes your nails super smooth and shiny! I’m a dude so I cant do it, but it still love that thing!Haven’t tried out everything yet, but I’m excited to see the quality of the rest of the stuff in this kit!

Even though it seems a bit masculine, it was a good personal gift for my granddaughter. Her girl relatives gave a little engagement shower of personal items while she was visiting in the US. The light sage is a favorite.
