Decent storage containers
I bought these as a little parrot hospital for a parrot recovering from surgery, who cannot perch or climb until his leg heals. My brother drilled holes in the lid of one, for air, which wasn’t easy because they are made of a more brittle plastic material, and now the lid is ruined, but that’s ok. Annoyed at first at having to buy a set of 2, but that turned out to be great, I can put him in one while cleaning the other. They aren’t 100% clear, but you can see through them, so he doesn’t feel too claustrophobic. (He didn’t tell me this, I am just guessing) The lid fits into two clasps at each end, so it won’t come off by pushing from the inside. After my bird is completely recovered from his surgery, I can use them for storage…though one will have a “ventilated” lid. I like that they are USA made and at least some harmful chemicals were not used, which is important since my bird has to live in them for at least 6 weeks.

Good and Practical For Light Duty
I think these are great as long as you have realistic expectations.I’m using these to organize a bunch of things that were loose in my closet. I have a bin for travel toiletries, a bin for various medicines, and one for accessories like winter gloves. I have two that store rarely used neckties, and one for CPAP accessories. They’re not going to be kicked around, shoved in tight spaces, or otherwise see a lot of rough use. I’m not storing anything heavy in them. I wouldn’t fill one full of batteries or rolls of coins, for instance. No, the latches aren’t very strong and the plastic won’t endure a lot of abuse. Sure, you could buy more robust and wear resistant containers, but they’re perfectly adequate for what I’m using them for.The dimensions were a large part of my decision to buy them because they efficiently fill the space I have for them.I like that the nesting portion of the lid doesn’t take up any interior space below the top of the bin. For my use case, they’re perfect, and I’m going to order more.Being made domestically (of global components) is a nice bonus. It’s pretty rare to find plastic things made here.

Disappointed
Really nice containers but unfortunately many broken handles. Although useable-would be better if able to lock the handle.

Worth the cost
These bins are worth the cost. They’re able to fit perfectly on my shelves and we can organize all of our tools and laundry room materials. They can hold quite a bit of stuff and it’s easy to open and close them. There’s really no assembly with these and it’s very easy to move things around the house as needed. They are clear and you can see straight through them so you can know what’s in them without having to open up every bin.

Revised review
Update: I’ve changed it from 1 to 3 stars. Come to find out the whole screen shot pic was all on Amazons end. Would not allow them to access it. Of course that addresses most of the cust. Serv. Issues. I Won’t put more than 3 stars because of the lids having issues. The one broken and another that’s cracked. I went ahead and just went thru Amazon on the replacement.I don’t like to give scathing reviews. Because I worked in a manufacturing plant. But—I am BEYOND “DONE” with THIS manufacturer. All I wanted was (ONE LID REPLACED). It had broken off at the handle spot. I didn’t even address the lid that had a crack in it. First thing-told it would be “40 days to get a replacement”. I let that go. Figuring it is what it is. I called them a week ago. There has been a good 3 emails back and forth. Just me TRYING to get a lid. When calling in I was told to send screen shot of order and give address. After a day and half I get another email. Now they are asking for EVERYTHING. Picture of the damaged lid. I CAN UNDERSTAND THAT. Then product number, picture of label, and I can’t remember what else. I wrote email saying “why don’t you ask for all that at the first. Maybe people have thrown away the lid in this DAY AND HALF before email communication. Maybe people don’t check emails -CONSTANTLY. Plus why ask for product # when a screen shot of order is sent. This really is ridiculous. I’ve ordered exclusively online for 6yrs. Never had such a runaround. I’m housebound, so the taking of these bulky, huge containers to be shipped/returned wasn’t an option. Now to the actual product. Storage -GOOD weight-GOOD ASSEMBLY-NONE required. But obviously the lid is really bad. Since one was broken by where you snap it shut. Another was cracked. I’d say thickness of plastic is bad or the type of plastic. Plus the snapping mechanism where it locks shut doesn’t seem very sturdy. I’d say it would be easy for it to come unlocked. The only good things are— mouse proof (hopefully) / size / it’s a USA Made product.

I received the storage containers damaged. Only one was in a good condition out of 6.

I don’t know if it’s a bonus feature or something, but the handles do not stay attached. The design looked great in theory, but I’m already dreading needing any items I’ve stored in these containers because I know I’ll be fighting to get the handles back on again.
