Very very nice and pliable
I purchased this product to take my melted beef tallow and duck fat and make it into smaller usable amounts and freeze it in the ice cube shapes. It keeps it fresh in the freezer this way. The tallow or ice removes from the silicone very easily. It is also easy to clean. The product is VERY PLIABLE. It allows for easy removal of the ice or tallow Therefore I put a sturdy plate or something under it to carry it to the freezer because it will bend and slosh out very easily if I don’t keep it flat when picking it up. I like how cute the shapes look! How fun!

Great for small freezers
Small enough for my dorm fridge and they freeze really fast! Perfect for coffees. Kind of hard to get the ice cubes out.

Great time saver for quicker meal prep
I bought these so I can use a food processor to grate a lot of ginger or garlic and freeze them into small portions because doing a few cloves or knobs while rushing to cook dinner always annoyed me. Now I feel smug taking out a little bestagon whenever I need one and just tossing into my pan. Each cell can hold 2 teaspoons. My tape labels don’t stick well to this kind of silicone material so I press out all the hexagons when frozen and store them in labeled ziplock bags. The flexible silicone makes it easy to break each one out but rigid enough to get neatly into your freezer when fully loaded.

Decent ice cube tray
These ice cube trays make nice, small ice cubes, not as big as the plastic trays. I like the hexagon shape, reminds me of a beehive. It was a little hard to fill the trays (I am using a water pitcher, not the faucet so maybe that’s why), when I tried to level the water out like I do with the square silicone tray I have the water just spilled over the side and not into the empty ice holes. I also had some troubles getting the ice cubes out and into the ice holder, maybe there is a technique I am missing, but it was a little tough for me. I was able to pick up and move the stack (four trays) with the lids on pretty easily and without spilling. All in all it’s not bad, but it iant really great either.
