Decent quality, but room for improvements
I set this up next to the bed and within an hour I understood why so many parents recommend a bedside sleeper. Assembly took me about 15 minutes with no guesswork. The frame feels stable, the mesh sides give a clear view, and the included mattress sits flat with good support. I use it in bedside mode for night feeds, then switch to stationary or rocking during daytime naps. The quick toggle between rocking and fixed feet is a smart touch. It is manual rocking though, and they could have included an automatic version at this price.Height adjustability matters in a tight bedroom. The 5 settings line up well with our mattress height, so there is no awkward gap. On fussy evenings I raise the head a notch to add a slight incline, which has helped with spit up. The mesh panels breathe well. I can feel airflow when the fan is on low, and I like that I can see chest movement without leaning over the rail.Rolling it and using the wheel locking mechanism could be easier. The storage basket underneath is large enough for diapers, wipes, and extra sheets, which cuts down on trips to the closet. Cleaning has been simple so far, but I wish it included a waterproof bassinet mattress rather than cloth.Overall, it is a good addition for the first few months with a newborn. Much Nicer Than I Anticipated
This HARPPA Cuddly Baby Bassinet Bedside Sleeper is much nicer than I had anticipated. It is a really great value when I consider all the convenience it gives me. Assembly was easy, and the instructions were step by step. The mattress is included and it seems soft, but at the same time supportive. I love that I can see my baby at all times through the mesh sides. The rocking motion is gentle and not too fast.I roll the bassinet to whichever room I am working, and the wheels turn easily. My favorite part of this bassinet is the 5 adjustable heights. I can literally put it beside my recliner, sofa, or bed and reach it without any difficulty. My baby girl has a tendency to spit up so I can appreciate that this bassinet even has an anti-spit up incline adjustment.I love the large amount of storage under the bassinet. I can keep diapers, wipes, blankets, toys, clothes, etc under it. I literally have it down to a science for nighttime feedings. I keep a bottle warmer and small cooler for bottles on the nightstand, and put everything else in the storage. I do not have to get up for nighttime feedings or diaper changes. This bassinet is for babies up to 20lbs. The neutral color blends in to any room decor.
