Does the dog hair go through to the couch with this blanket?
Not at all. It’s totally waterproof and has several layers of fabric so debris does not get through.
How durable is this product? will it withstand scratching and chewing?
Yes, my dog scratches on it like he’s digging a hole, and no damage, very good quality, very durable. Also very soft.
If a cat throws up on this, will it stain? Is it machine washable?
It’s machine washable. I don’t know if it will get stained. I always use Nature’s Miracle on any mess my dogs make before I wash it and it gets rod of all stains.

Great for using to protect duvet cover from pets
I just got a new weighted blanket, and I had to get a duvet cover for it. Imagine my frustration when my cat puked all over (she has pancreatitis) it on the second night. Weighted blankets are not easily washable and the cover wasn’t very waterproof. You get the gist. I was just glad I caught it in time and it wasn’t too much damage.I went on Amazon to try to find a waterproof duvet cover. Wasn’t able to find one that had good reviews or was under $100. After a couple tries of products that might have a similar function, I came across this.I love this product. It looks like a blanket kind of. It is a bit noisy but I’m used to it by now. Most important of all, my cat loves it. I cover her donut bed with this cover on my bed and she loves curling up in it. It has saved my bed from multiple pukes and my own clumsy spills. Couldn’t recommend more! Get it now, you won’t regret it!

It is waterproof
I got this in the super size to cover my couch top to bottom and side to side. It does, in fact, cover the entire sofa and is also, in fact, waterproof as described. We have had multiple “incidents” with multiple resulting washes and it is still waterproof and looks like new. It is extremely lightweight, like a very lightweight poplin feel. Accordingly, I have given it 5 stars. Note, however, that the liquids just puddle on top of the pad vs. other pads which have an absorbent inner core with a waterproof layer underneath. Personally, I prefer the ones with the absorbent core as I find it difficult to clean up the liquid first so I can remove the cover for washing without spilling it everywhere. Your preference may be different. But this pad works as described, is waterproof, holds up to washing, provides great coverage, and the stitching is perfect. The color selection is also very nice.

Waterproof!
I have a 125lb dog that sleeps with me and he can somethings make a mess on the bed. I got this due to it being waterproof and it does the trick! No wetness on the bed. The other good thing is that his dog hair doesn’t stick to it too much so I can shake it out easily. He has short hair dog. I recommend this and will prob get a spare when this one is in the wash. I can see this as being great for kids too!

Great for dogs
Good value. Does what it’s supposed to do. It’s suppose to be waterproof. This hasn’t been tested yet, but does make it a little difficult to clean. I use it on my bed for toe nails and hair. It seems to be well made and durable. It’s not the softest blanket. It’s nothing more than a moving blanket. It does slide around on the bed when the dog jump up/down. It’ll cover a full size bed pretty good.I’ll buy again when needed.

Beware! NOT WATERPROOF!
At first product seemed great. I tested with 1/4 cup of water for less than a minute. There lies my problem. It appeared to not absorb & beaded up in that tiny amount of time so thought we were good. NOPE! Apparently, unless you witness your beloved fur ball have an accident it will PENETRATE ALL LAYERS & into whatever you are trying to protect. That most certainly does not qualify as a waterproof blanket & the description needs changed!Cat pee had gone through this “waterproof” blanket, thick comforter, flat sheet, fitted sheet & into an actual waterproof mattress cover. Thankfully the mattress cover did it’s job. It did what the blanket should have done!!! I would have been livid if it made it in to my expensive mattress. So now instead of only needing to wash the blanket, I had to wash all of the bedding! Washing our huge, fluffy king comforter can’t be done at home, even with my massive new washer, which means a trip to the laundromat ASAP! For a person with severely painful mobility issues, it is not an an easy task to strip the bed & head to the laundromat, especially in a rural area.The blankets purchased were to protect our bedding & make it easy to toss blankets in the wash. Of course, my fur baby didn’t have an accident within the return timeframe. So now I’m out the cost of not only the 2 purchased useless blankets but also the cost (money, energy & pain) of having to change & make the bed plus trip to laundromat. If you’re rolling your eyes at the thought of changing a bed being difficult or painful, just stop for a moment & be thankful. I took so many mundane things for granted but life can change in a blink of an eye!Product description needs changed as to not receive others!

Still works
Still working after getting it in 2023 I believe. Washes great and is used for the dogs. No smell. Color is pretty accurate, quality is great, great value and it’s gotten soft before it was a bit stiff but definitely broke it in now.

Does what it says
Got this blanket for adult time, if you know what I mean. It gets the job done. Great to throw over the bed. It got wet wet, but didn’t leak through. For those that said it does leak, they probably left it soaked and in place for a while. But if you remove the blanket, there’s no issue with leaking.
