Fits our newborn-sized grandchild perfectly, but will it grow with the infant 🧐
Our newborn-sized grandchild fits on it perfectly, so it’s going to be make-shift as the babe grows. Even with that, the price is great and the item functions as intended (for now 🤨) and that’s why I’m giving it a 5 ⭐️ review.However, it’s cute (snail pattern 🐌), compact, folds conveniently (we even fold a few newborn diapers into it), and otherwise functions as intended. It will clean easily 🧽 and our babe doesn’t have any comfort issues. Overall, it’s easy to use. Note: the item has an elastic loop strap that isn’t shown until the fourth photo. This is great because it allows us to fold it up with 2-3 diapers within for easy changes as the day goes on.

I’m really pleased with the Outtip Portable Diaper Changing Mat. It’s wonderfully compact, yet provides just the right amount of cushioning for both baby’s body and head. The little snail design is absolutely adorable and works perfectly for either a baby boy or girl. I also appreciate how easy the material is to clean — a must for diaper changes on the go!My only small complaint is the closure: it uses a band to keep it folded, and I wish it had a Velcro closure instead, which would make it even more convenient. Still, it’s a great product overall!

So Much Better Than I Expected
This Portable Diaper Changing Pad was so much better than I expected. I hate going in to public diaper changing areas, and none of them ever have disposable sheets to cover the diaper changing tables. For a while, I had disposable sheets that I would carry, but that gets expensive. This mat was a fabulous value.The design of the little elephants are so cute. The pad is durable and sturdy. It feels like it will last for as long as I need it. The pillow portion is very well padded. The pad folds up and does not take up much space at all in the diaper bag. The thing I like best is that it is 100% waterproof. My baby can have an accident on the diaper pad, and it can be wiped away in seconds. This is one of those things you didn’t know you needed until you have it, and now you can’t imagine life without it.

Pros:* it folds up nicely, not a lot of extra bulk* it has a bit of actual foam padding on the head section, more than just the little changing sheets, so if you need to use it on a random table or hardwood floor, it won’t be so uncomfortable for the baby.* the goofy photoshopped pic in the listing with the 0-3mo baby makes this thing look comically tiny. Back here in reality, when it’s unfolded, it’s roughly 21 inches high, 20.5 inches wide.Cons:* it doesn’t wake up and change the baby’s diaper in the middle of the night, feed the baby, and put her back to sleep, all on its own. You can’t win them all I guess.
