A few cons but overall works well and the glass is a must have.
I ordered this Glass Baby Food Steamer because I am all about using glass- no plastic for our little one. I was really torn between 3 or 4 stars for this item but ultimately I’m going with four and here’s why…First off, for the price point, I found it to be decently made with thick glass and a pretty solid blade. There are more expensive versions out there I’ve seen with similar materials, so I found this to be a bargain. The size is also nice- it’s not huge so you can keep it on the counter without it becoming a nuisance. That being said, one of the cons I noticed is that it doesn’t quite fit as much food as advertised. I didn’t feel we got the full “1.5 cups” out of it. While a bit of an annoyance, it isn’t and wouldn’t be a deterrent for me in terms of purchasing again. It is super easy and straightforward in terms of use, but there are instructions to help guide you. It steams nicely and blends smoothly so I feel it works well. It is pretty easy to clean, but the self-cleaning mode is a bit misleading- you do need to do some manual labor or throw it in the dishwasher to ensure it’s truly clean. That being said, it is nice that the components are all dish washer safe- big plus in our household. The biggest con… it works pretty slowly and can be time-consuming. This isn’t a quick process, so if you’re making multiple batches of things, expect it to take some time, especially since the bowl capacity is lower than advertised. If you’re looking for something to cook and baby meal prep fast, you may want something with a larger capacity.Overall, not perfect but definitely works, and the glass components are a really nice touch. For the price point, I would say this is a decent buy.

Breaks after a few uses
I’ve purchased this product twice now. The 1st time I loved it, cooked religiously with it every day and then it suddenly stopped working 2.5 weeks later. I loved it so much and didn’t see anything comparable on market so decided to give it another shot. This time the product broke and stopped worked after 2nd use. I’ve followed instructions perfectly. This is just disappointing

It broke in less than 1 month
I really wanted to love this baby food maker because it is very pretty and I love the glass which one of the very few ones few ones out there that are completely glass, and so my purpose was to replace the plastic steamer that I had initially purchased. However, I was very disappointed at several aspects of this baby food maker. First of all, the instructions are completely useless, have typos, and are inconsistent. The actual machine has very good size, the glass is thick and durable. The buttons don’t work well and I found myself having to press them several times for it to work. One of the major flaws of the steamer is a when the food is done, there is no handle that you can use to take out the hot glass bowl, I burned myself every single time I used this. I also did not like the functionality that it automatically blends the food when the food is close to being done cooking, because I often wanted to vary the amount of water I put in the food to make a specific consistency and this did not allow me to do that. After using this baby food maker for about three weeks, it completely stopped blending, the motor turned on, but the blades don’t spin.Overall, I think this needs major improvements.
